In 1994, Eschenbach introduces a new spectacle brand for young and fashion conscious people. As the sunglasses collection is very well received by the market, the Humphrey´sframe collection soon follows.
Humphrey´s recipe for success is the quick implementation of trends, paired with riotous colours at competitive prices. And all this with the usual Eschenbach quality.
Hannover Finanz, one of the most prestigious German equity investment companies takes shares in the company. The Eschenbach family hands over operational management to outside managers who also invest in the company.
In the same year, Eschenbach Optik GmbH will take over the licence for Marc O’Polo Eyewear. The new partnership between Marc O’Polo and long-established Eschenbach brings together two strong companies to form the perfect combination for the creation of an outstanding range of products.
