Contrast:
By "clicking on the letter above" you can activate the reverse polarity i.e. the positive/negative image

Zoom:
Option 1:
"Click", to activate 2 magnification levels
Option 2: 
Use the "+/- keys" on the number pad of your PC (on the right hand side of your keyboard)) to increase or decrease the image up to 10x.
